"I was a victim of a crime on September 2023, i was hospitalized and badly injured. even though there  was a lot of evidence, the police did not take my case serious. i was again attacked July 2024, this time around, i was assigned a caseworker with LAHAVC, who went to the police and translated on my behalf, the police took me to the hospital. with the help of my casework, the culprit was apprehended. LAHAVC also helped me get a restraining order.
